Pilgrimages

That said, not every pilgrimage is created equal. I’ve heard many stories of individuals making once-in-a-lifetime journeys to Rome or the Holy Land, only to unknowingly forego the most important aspects of the pilgrimage.

  • No one should ever miss a visit to the Holy Sepulchre because their guide was confused about the closing time.

  • No one should ever forego the best seat in St. Peter’s Square to see the Pope because their bus driver dropped them off too late to get through security.

  • No one should ever lose the opportunity to summit Mt. Tabor because their tour group had too many buses of pilgrims to make it to the top.

Sometimes the best intentioned tour groups unknowingly end up with a non-Catholic tour guide who doesn’t prioritize the sacred sites and isn’t informed enough to know the ends and outs.

Other times, you may sign up with the best Catholic pilgrimage leader in the nation, only to discover on arrival that you’ll be spending your trip with three buses of 150 other pilgrims!

Sunday Dive pilgrimages always use Catholic guides and are always limited to a single bus of no more than 50 pilgrims. In addition, each itinerary is handcrafted with your best interests in mind. Our goal is to give you the very best pilgrimage experience!

The journey of a lifetime

Salvation history is full of journeys - from Adam and Eve leaving the Garden to the Israelite people wandering in the desert. It seems that God knows if He can get us out of our normal surroundings, He can do great things.

Such is true of pilgrimages.

When you board a plane to an unknown land with the intention of making it a journey with the Lord, you can expect great things.
